
Bio
Dr. Northern, a proud 2007 honor graduate of Perry High School, has dedicated her career to education and public service. She earned her bachelor’s degree from The Fort Valley State University in 2010 and went on to complete a Master’s in Public Administration. Following five years of service as a civilian with the U.S. Air Force, she pursued her passion for teaching, obtaining a second Master’s degree from the University of West Georgia, followed by a Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College in 2019. Most recently, Dr. Northern achieved her Doctorate in Education from Liberty University in the summer of 2024. Throughout her career, Dr. Northern has made an impact at Perry High School as a Social Studies teacher, head cheerleading coach, and assistant soccer coach. She is happily married to her college sweetheart, Marcus, and they are the proud parents of two daughters, Wesley and Willa Rose. Dr. Northern is excited to be part of the FMMS family—Go Wolves!
