Michelle Burk was born and raised in Warner Robins and is a graduate of Warner Robins High School.  She earned her bachelor’s degree in Speech Communications from Valdosta State University, a Master’s degree in School Counseling from the University of West Alabama, and a Specialist’s degree in Educational Leadership from Columbus State University.  She began her career in Houston County teaching language arts at Bert Rumble Middle School and Huntington Middle School for six years before becoming a school counselor at Feagin Mill Middle School. Mrs. Burk is married and has one daughter who attends school in Houston County.  She looks forward to helping the students of Feagin Mill be more productive and successful members of our school and our community.

Rochelle Smith graduated from GA State University with a Masters of Education in School Counseling. She received her Bachelor of Psychology degree from Liberty University. Mrs. Smith calls Warner Robins home. She grew up in the Houston County school system and graduated from Northside High School.

After college, she became a Student Assistance Counselor for HODAC and worked with students at the alternative schools in Houston County. Five years later, she became a school counselor for at the elementary level and served this age group for 16 years. Mrs. Smith moved to the middle school level in 2013 and has love helping families at Feagin Mill Middle School.

Mrs. Rochelle Smith is married and has two sons in college. She loves outside activities when she is not at school. She enjoys walking, reading a book by her pool, and working in her flower gardens.

Mrs. Rochelle Smith’s goal as a counselor is to help remove barriers that keep students from being successful. She wants to help students believe in themselves and give them skills to overcome difficult situations.
