Bio
Hello, I am Mr. Morton. My life revolves around being a family man and a teacher. I have been married to my wonderful wife Katy for 14 years. We have a son, Sawyer (13), and a daughter, Lily (7). We enjoy taking little trips around the Southeast and making memories.
This is my second year at FMMS and my 17th year teaching. I will help coach the Chess Club and I will be teaching 7th grade social studies. I graduated from GCSU in 2007 with a BBA in Economics. I later obtained my teaching certificate through GaTapp. I obtained my master's degree in curriculum and instruction in 2018 from Valdosta State University. In 2019, I completed my specialist in teacher leadership from Valdosta State University. I am currently pursuing a certificate in educational leadership from Valdosta State University.
I am proud to be a member of the Feagin Mill family. I am excited about our upcoming school year.
