Bio
Coach Pinto has taught and coached at Feagin Mill Middle School since 2008. In that time, he has coached soccer, and track for the Wolves. He has also had the privilege and opportunity to coach soccer at the high school level with the Houston County High School Bears. Throughout the 12 years of teaching at Feagin Mill, Coach Pinto has been fortunate to serve and teach in many different rolls for the Wolves. Coach Pinto has taught Social Studies in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. He has served as the Social Studies department chair for the last nine years. Coach Pinto tries to find ways to teach with a very positive and uplifting style. His number one priority is to help students learn to love school. If students love school and learning in general, then they are set up to excel and succeed in every aspect of being a student and hopefully achieve great success now and later on in life.
Prior to beginning his career at Feagin Mill, Coach Pinto graduated from Valdosta State University with a degree in Middle and Secondary Education. He has also received a Master degree in Differentiated instruction from Graceland University, as well as a Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College. He is huge sports fan, especially watching and following Atlanta United FC and the University of Florida Gators. In his free time, you can usually find him running, playing adult league soccer, mountain biking, or playing some disc golf. Coach Pinto is married to his wonderful wife Colleen, and they have two amazing children Cynthia and Timothy.
