Ms. Knowland has 21 years of experience teaching middle school in the Houston County school system.  While working in the school system, she has taught computer science, social studies, science and math, including gifted Algebra.  She attended Georgia College and State University where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a Master's degree of Arts in Teaching.  Ms. Knowland has also earned a Specialist degree in Teaching and Learning from Valdosta State University.
