Mr. Matt Topping is a graduate of Houston County High School, as well as a former Feagin Mill Wolf. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from Georgia Southern University. He later earned his Master of Education in Quality Schools from Graceland University and an Educational Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont University. He began his teaching career in 2007 at Feagin Mill Middle and has since taught math at all levels: 6^th, 7^th, and 8^th grade, including Connections math and honors Algebra. Mr. Topping has spent the entirety of his career investing in his students both inside and outside of the classroom. He has served as an athletic coach for 15 years at both the middle and high school level.

Mr. Topping is married to Melissa Topping and they have two children, Addison (7^th grade) and Brandon (4^th grade).
