Bio

Greetings FMMS Wolf Family!

I am thrilled  to be a part of The Mill. This is my 18th year in Education. I was born  in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I traveled the world with my family as a military brat until 7th grade when my father retired from the United States Army and we moved to Augusta, Georgia. After high school,  I earned my undergraduate degree in Sociology  with a minor in Science Education from Augusta University where I met my husband Charles who is from Macon, Georgia. I went on to earn my Master degree in Curriculum Instruction from University of Phoenix. I am currently at Piedmont University pursuing my Doctorate in Educational Leadership. I am excited to experience the world of Physical Science with my students as they learn to ask critical questions about the world around them. I am eager to watch my students explore the areas of Physics and Chemistry as they look at everything around from the eyes of a scientist.  My goal is to develop a partnership with you and your students in order to help them achieve their science goals in 8th grade.

At home, my time is spent with my husband of 15 years Charles, our two daughters Madison and Makenzie and our two dogs, Sasha (German Shepherd) and Ace (Yorkie). As a family we enjoy movies, the beach and going to Disney.

I am so honored to be a part of your child's educational journey!  Let’s do this together! Go WOLVES!
