Bio

Hello FMMS Wolves and families.  I am thrilled to be a part of The Mill as I begin my 17th year teaching. I was born and raised in Warner Robins, and I am proud to be a product of the Houston County School System. I earned my undergrad in Early Childhood Education and went on to earn my Master degree in Curriculum Instruction from Valdosta State University. I obtained my Specialist degree from Valdosta State University in Teacher Leadership shortly after. I am eager to watch my students grow in their writing skills and find a passion for reading.  My goal is to foster a love of learning as students develop a mindset of growth and not perfection.  As an educator I feel it is vital for students to learn to be lifelong learners as well as respectful citizens in their community. I am so excited to fill my classroom with love, respect and laughter!

At home, my time is spent with my husband, our son, Cason, daughter, Elin and our two dogs, Porter and Koda. We enjoy spending our free moments exploring the many adventures found at different RV spots in our camper, spending time on the water and watching both kiddos in their extra-curricular activities.

I am so honored to be a part of your child's educational journey!
