Bio

A native of Warner Robins, Georgia, I am proud to have been part of the Houston County School System from kindergarten through 12th grade, graduating from Houston County High School in 2015.

I began my college career at Georgia Southern University, where I studied Biology with a minor in Chemistry for two years before transferring to Middle Georgia State University, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in business. I later pursued my passion for education at Georgia College and State University, earning a master’s degree in Middle Grades Education. While completing my graduate studies, I worked as a substitute teacher in the Houston County School System, gaining valuable classroom experience and further confirming my commitment to teaching.

I am currently in my fifth year of teaching and have had the opportunity to teach both Life Science and Mathematics. In addition to the classroom, I have coached competition and football cheerleading at Feagin Mill Middle School. I plan to continue my professional growth by pursuing a Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction in the coming years.

I met my husband, Wil, in 2020, and we were married in June of 2022. We are blessed with two children, Walker and Ella Cole, and are excited to welcome another baby boy this July.

I am passionate about supporting students academically and personally and am grateful to serve in the same community that helped shape me.
