I was born and raised in Warner Robins, Georgia. I graduated with an Education degree from Columbus State University. I earned my Masters and Specialist Degree from Georgia Southwestern University. I hold certifications in Social Studies, World Geography, Science, and Language Arts.  I hold an endorsement in Gifted Education,  I have taught a total of 28 years, all in Houston County.  I sponsor the Academic Bowl Team here at Feagin Mill Middle School.   

My husband is Greg Peavy , who is a product of Houston County Schools (WRHSc/o 1988). He is the Principal of Parkwood Elementary.  

We have one daughter, Morgan (23), and one son Colin (22).  

Things I enjoy doing when I am not at school are spending time with family, reading, shopping, playing with my two dogs, etc. My faith is very important to me, so I enjoy spending time in church.

I consider it an honor to work at Feagin Mill Middle School along with the best faculty, staff and administration in Houston County.  Go Wolves!.
